Shamrock’s next succesful title chase came two months  later in July 1995 at UFC 6 when he fought Dan Severn, whom he beat by submission with a guillotine choke in the first round, winning the UFC Superfight Championship.

During the course of his MMA career, KShamrock has had 47 professional fights  for various promotions including the UFC,  Pride, Pancrase and Bellator MMA,  among others. Shamrock has  had  some notable rivalries with Royce Gracie and Tito Ortiz, both of whom he has never defeated.
