Stipe Miocic has gone on record to called the UFC exactly what it is, a sh*t show. Miocic, who lost the UFC heavyweight title to Daniel Cormier in the main event at UFC 226, took time to speak to ESPN about the drama that took place inside the octagon following his loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 226.
“It was a sh*t show and it was disrespectful,” Miocic said. “I didn’t think that was what the UFC was all about.”
The sh*t show he is referring to is the WWE-like display that took place post-fight.
Following his win over Miocic, Daniel Cormier had his octagon interview, followed up by a short speech, and topped off with a callout to former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Lesnar walked right by the nonexistent security, up the steps, and into the cage, where he made a bee-line towards Cormier. Lesnar shoved Cormier and then the two exchanged words before Lesnar went on a profanity-laced tirade that involved Francis Ngannou, Miocic, and Cormier before being ushered out by the ringleader of the circus, Dana White.
While Miocic is a man of few words, he was hoping to get to be interviewed after the fight to try and secure a rematch, but because of the ensuing mayhem, he never got the chance.
“I thought they were going to interview me [after the fight] and I was going to ask for a rematch,” Miocic said. “When Brock came in, I said, ‘I’m out of here, I don’t need this circus.’ How can you give a guy a title shot who hasn’t fought in over two years, is suspended, and his last fight is a no-contest because he was taking PEDs?”
“I want a title shot. I deserve it,” Miocic said. “[Lesnar] hasn’t fought in how long? For him to get a title shot, as I get thrown to the side? It just seems like they are desperate for pay-per-views.
”I cleaned out the division. I defended it more than anyone, and you’re gonna tell me I don’t deserve a chance to get it back? Get out of here. Kiss my ass if you don’t think I deserve that.”
Dana White spoke to Miocic after the incident to offer him an apology but Stipe wasn’t buying it.
“It was like a two-second conversation, he apologized for everything that happened in the cage,” Miocic said. “I just said, ‘Whatever.’ The apology didn’t mean anything. That’s what they want to happen.”
Certainly looks as if Miocic is going to get a raw deal on this one. If there has ever been someone more UNDESERVING of a title shot, it’s Lesnar. Forget the fact that he has been caught using PEDs on numerous occasions, Lesnar has a horsesh*t record in the UFC. In his last three fights, he has had back-to-back losses followed by a no-contest ruling due to him testing positive for steroids.
Speaking of steroids, hasn’t Cormier busted Jon Jones’ balls repeatedly, calling him a cheater because of his failed drug tests?
U hid from usada bruh. Yes u did steroids. You have always done steroids. U tried to cheat me. So shut ur bum ass up. https://t.co/KFfVvd7feA

Awful funny that he called out a cheater that hasn’t even fought in two years. But I’m sure all the people with eyes can see this for what it really is, a money grab. Brock Lesnar is a freak of nature and he sells a sh*tload of tickets. End of story.
